Built for clinicians, by a clinician
The Florida Mental Health Network is a professional listserv for licensed and training mental health clinicians across Florida. It is a place to find referrals, ask practice questions, share resources, post job openings, and build real professional relationships with colleagues you might never otherwise meet.
FMHN is not a directory, a social media platform, or a marketing channel. It is clinician to clinician, grounded in professional trust. Members use it to make their practices stronger and their professional lives less isolated. Membership is free and always will be.
Who should join
FMHN welcomes licensed and training mental health professionals across Florida, as well as practice-support staff connected to mental health work.
What members share
Community guidelines
A few simple expectations keep FMHN useful and trustworthy for everyone.
Protect patient and client confidentiality
Do not share identifying information. Use a minimal-information format for referral requests:
"ISO: therapist specializing in OCD for adult client in Palm Beach County"ISO means "in search of."
Keep posts relevant
Posts should relate to clinical work, referrals, resources, training, professional development, or community building among mental health professionals.
Be collegial and assume good intent
Communicate with kindness. Avoid disparaging colleagues, professions, or communities.
Use clear subject lines
Specific subject lines help everyone scan the group quickly — for example, ISO: child therapist for anxiety in Boca Raton or Job opening: outpatient therapist, Jupiter.
Reply directly when appropriate
Reserve reply-all for information that may benefit the full group.

Dr. Tzvi Furer, MD
Dr. Tzvi Furer is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and the founder of Palm Tree Psychiatry, a concierge practice in Jupiter and Boca Raton. He trained at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital, where he later served as Unit Chief for Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatry and Associate Program Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.
His clinical focus is anxiety, OCD, and the pressures that come with high-functioning, high-expectation lives — in children, adolescents, adults, and families. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida.
He founded FMHN because he believes Florida mental health professionals do better work when they are connected to each other.
